One of those bastards ran across my kitchen floor the other day. I threw a knife at it. Now I have a bug problem and a knife mark on the wooden floor.

Not a bug person. Girlfriend was flipping out thinking they were termites, I had to reassure they were not. OhioChatter has reassured her.

No danger from them...other than possibly crawling into your ears and nesting while you sleep at night....thus the name. Other than that you're cool bro

Yep. Earwig. Other then they look like cockroaches with pincers, they don't amount to much.

Earwigs are attracted to moist areas. Dehumidify indoors and they shouldn't be too much of a problem.
