Apparently the video for "Alejandro" debuted today.....all I have to say is that was 8 minutes of holy shit, what the fuck, and why am I watching this moments. Not to mention she looks like Madonna in it. She's talented but man I don't know how much weirder her music videos can be...
My thoughts exactly. I'm on vevo watching some videos and it comes up as a huge banner "new lady gaga video alejandro debut" so I say ok , what the hell let's see how nuts she goes with this one. Then it just became like watching a horrific car crash where I wanted to look away but I couldn't

I watched the whole thing simply because I'm one of those people who will finish watching something if I start.
I absolutely cannot stand Lady Gaga. She's yet to release a song that won't make me change the radio station when it comes on. I know so many people who absolutely love her and think that she is the most inventive, creative, and original artist in a decade. I couldn't disagree more. Her songs are simply pop lyrics set to a house beat. People cite the fact that she writes all of her own songs and the fact that she's being true to who she is as a reason why she's so great. Well, she wasn't dressing like she was going to a costume party before she became famous (or even when she first started becoming famous for that matter). Yes, I've seen some of the videos of her when she was in college sitting at a piano and singing, so I know that she's not devoid of talent, however, everything she does anymore is for money, popularity, and fame. This music video, along with almost everything she does, is for pure shock value and not for artistic integrity. Also, the fact that she seems to be ripping off Madonna every chance she gets doesn't help her attempts to appear authentic and true-to-self either.
I honestly wouldn't be that upset if someone shot her in the face tomorrow so that she just went away.
