I'll go first.
Mine is actually from Hong Kong -- he's here on a visa because he's some type of prodigy on the piano, so he practices/studies music at the university.
Nice, friendly guy. But never cleans up shit. I do some of his dishes on a weekly basis. A couple weeks ago he went to New York for the weekend to visit his girlfriend, and he made a bunch of food the night before he was flying out. I reminded him to do his dishes before he left for the weekend, and he assured me he would. Well, the next morning, nothing had been touched. I gathered all of them and put them in his bedroom where they sat all weekend. Since then, he's been better.
But you can almost mark it down, every Thursday-Friday-Saturday night, there's always him and about 3-5 other Asians here, making food, trashing the place, screaming in Chinese, watching random NBA games. Last night they were getting pretty into the Phoenix-New Orleans game. I like NBA, but who the hell cares?? I swear that none of them must have an apartment or house other than him, because mark it down every weekend it's them here trashing the place.

It's not swearing. I think he meant the title to be "Let's female dog about our roommates," so, it's all good.

I had many roommates in college that didn't like to do the dishes. One night, I came home from the bar, was so pissed off at the mess, I stayed up until 4:30 a.m. washing dishes. It was a sty.

My roommate invited a bunch of underage service group friends to stay in our tiny room... all night. There were like 5 or 6 of them. And they were drinking hard liquor all night (which is a no-no in our dorm) and they were being loud the whole time. I guess the R.A. almost walked in like 2 or 3 different times (somebody down the hall told us). But the worst part was that they didnt go to sleep until 5 AM. which means I didnt get to sleep until 5 am

I live with a self proclaimed neat freak chick that bitches at me and our other roommate about cleaning up after ourselves, yet, she does absolutly NOTHING around the place. So, she is a neat freak that is due to making everyone else clean up.

I found three girls to live with on craigslist, and with one of the girls she has to walk through my room to get to hers (and I hers to get to the bathroom)....well needless to say she's a heavy partier and I'm pretty sure sells drugs. She usually comes home between 3-4 am...tries to be quiet but miserably fails...it's just annoying because I wake up at least once every night. But she's cool during the day when I'm awake anyways.

I'm probably the bad roommate. I leave stuff around and I don't do the dishes right away and sometimes the roommate does them. We have very different schedules and hardly see each other so I'd say it is a good situation.

My roommate is a cat named Pie. If I could get him to clean his litterbox, he'd be the perfect roommate.

If anyone remembers my roommate complaining thread a month or so ago on the old huddle, then I'll update.
Nothing has changed. The guy is still annoying and a total slob.
But, I'm outta here in a few weeks so I'm just holding my tongue.

My first roommate got wasted one night and tried to fight the other guys in my suite. Eventually the RA's called the police and he ended up getting arrested. Because of a condition that came with a DUI, he had to spend some time in jail in Michigan. Got the room to myself for a couple of weeks after that.
Next semester I had a new roommate who always had friends over that were a bit shady, and they were always different friends too. I swear I met like 50 "friends" that this guy brought over. And everytime I came home I felt like my stuff was in different places then when I left. Towards the end of the year I noticed some things were stolen from me, nothing major just little things. I would have said something but there was only like 2 weeks left and I didn't feel like starting anything. Then he left early before checkout leaving me to clean up the room all by myself, most of which was his mess. He was always nice to me and seemed like a nice guy, I'm thinking it was the people he let in the room that kept taking my stuff.
Also, not my roommate, but a guy in my suite lived in the dorms for about 3 weeks in the second semester without having signed up for classes. He just lived there until the university found out and kicked him out.

I have the solo room so I keep my room nice enough, but my other 2 roommates share a room . Their room is a disaster zone. I couldn't do it. Our kitchen is a flipping mess. One guy wants to cook ALL THE TIME, but cleans quite a bit. However, he makes so many messes per week he doesn't clean it all. And when he does do dishes(no dishwasher) he leaves the dishes out "to dry" and never puts them away. Are you effing kidding me? Don't half ass the job. The other guy leaves shit in the living room and NEVER touches it. His dirty dishes are all over. Then the first guy can't seem to understand that his clothes, especially socks, aren't welcome downstairs. Then the first guy will bring boxes of goods home from the store he works at and just throws the shit everywhere.
My other roommate cuts his own hair and he likes it short short. So there's hair all over the bathroom. I clean that once a week because I can't stand it. I don't touch the kitchen because I've stopped using it other than grabbing bread and my lunch meat and cheese. I don't use the dishes because I don't want tos ee them. Another thing, they leave the dishes in the dish washer and let the water sit and the food soak and it smells absolutely horrible. A month ago I went to clean(because i had been using the dishes) and they ahd stacked the cups WITH WATER/MILK/GATORADE/JUICE in them I pulled them apart the smell swear to god made me walk out of the room and open the door. It was terrible

So, this a good one. The idiot is home tonight, and he has two cats. Well, the cats spilled their water, which is in the kitchen. He then "cleaned it up". But, when I went into the kitchen there was just water spread throughout the kitchen. I asked him, what happened, he told me. Then I asked did he clean it up, he responded, "I did the best I could."
I just said, "Well clean it better ya effing idiot."
He has yet to clean it.

My roommate situation is pretty good. Finally moved in with my girlfriend of 3 years, senior year in college. She cleans the apartment weekly and I just do dishes/handle the trash. The only thing I dislike is when she comes home at 5 am after working at the hospital, she wakes me up.

I had a roommate that hardly ever did his dishes, and when he did, he did a half-assed job. More often that not, the dishes he would "wash" were still dirty when he got done. When I complained, he said it wasn't his problem if they weren't clean since he already washed them once, and if I wanted them to be clean I had to wash them myself. WTF.
