No thread on this? Come on! :D

I know it's not pro sports but there is only college football and college basketball for forums. Maybe it's serious business.

Anyway

UCLA is in the championship series

they'll face either Arizona or Tennessee

those teams meet at 7 p.m. after Arizona won 8-0 earlier

UCLA has become the favorite. Arizona has the coolest player left in leadoff hitter Brittany Lastrapes. Also kind of cute.

I've watched some of this the last couple days. I'm actually looking forward to watching the men's Super Regionals and the CWS over the next couple weeks, so the WCWS is getting me started. Out of the teams left, I think I'll be rooting for Arizona. I was disappointed that the defending champ, Washington, was eliminated so early though.

Arizona was playing with good desperation after losing one early. Now Tennessee has to buckle down and play like that, which should make for a tough elimination game.

Awesome catch by Lastrapes. Running back and crashing into the wall.

Tennessee leads though, 1-0

Yeah, that catch was pretty awesome. Even doubled up the runner too.

looks like the Vols are fighting back in this one

Arizona looks tired, their fourth must win in two days

Interesting matchup.

UCLA has been the best team, cruising mostly. Sentimental favorite as they try to win after the passing of John Wooden.

Arizona rough and tough, they've battled after losing the first game.

YES! I completely agree.

Looks like a PAC-10 showdown for the title. UCLA took 2 out of 3 from Arizona in Tuscon to end the regular season, but all three games were very close. Should be a good championship series.

I think Non clearly explained why he put the thread in this forum. I would say this is more sports related than "serious business", and the high school softball forum isn't exactly hopping either.

I watched the tournament all weekend. I watched last weekend too. Not as many dominating pitchers this year makes for a good tournament. I am pulling for Arizona. I just do not like UCLA. If I would have had to pick a team I was pulling for Georgia. Game 1 tonight @ 8:00.

I've been watching pretty much all the games. Is it me, or is Kenzie Fowler (the pitcher for AZ) hot? I miss college. :(

Beth Mowins makes this impossible to watch. Great game going on, but I just don't care to listen to her. If I hear her talk again about an "if necessary game", as she likes to call them, I'm gonna go crazy. Beth, Game 3 would be necessary if the teams split the first two games. Game 3 is not actually titled the "if necessary game".

**With the TV on mute**

UCLA gets 2 in the bottom of the 6th to take a 4-2 lead, but Arizona answers with a 2-run homer by Arredondo in the top of the 7th to tie it at 4-4.

Wildcats still at the plate in the 7th.
