6 shutout innings so far today ... coming into the game, 10-1, 0.78 ERA, 0.89 WHIP, 70 Ks. Since I have been a fan, I can only really think of Doc Gooden or Fernando Valenzuela with similar starts to the season. Are we on the verge of seeing the best pitcher's season in MLB history?

Nobody really has the velocity AND movement that this dude does in the Majors. Hits 97-100 on the gun while the ball moves 9 inches from side to side and 6 inches up and down. Very sick....

He's putting up good numbers because he hasn't faced the Reds yet.

His ERA just skyrocketed to 0.93 ... He MAY be mortal?

With that ERA I am surprised he hasn't been sent to the minors.

He reminds me of Pedro...when Pedro was in his prime. But as posted above...he's certainly no David Huff.

He was the #1 pitcher I wanted in both of my fantasy team drafts before the season started, and I got him in both, so he is doing well for me.

Pfff...that means his ERA is only three points better than Pittsburgh's best starter. Which is a very depressing thing to read after I typed it...
