Tribe 6-2 in the 4th.
Lou Marson has a three run bomb as the Indians chased Beurlhe after just 3 innings of work and 95 pitches.

If only. I was just looking ahead in the schedule a minute ago and the upcoming stretch is absolutely brutal.
Get this... beginning June 22nd against the Phillies, the Indians play 43 consecutive games against teams that are currently above .500. 43 straight!

Another stellar effort from the bullpen today. Specific kudos go to Jensen Lewis for walking both batters he faced, and to Manny Acta for somehow still not realizing that Raffy Perez is the worst pitcher in baseball.

I've come to the conclusion that Acta makes Wedge look like a genius.

Well...a 43 game losing streak would get us the lead in on Baseball Tonight...lol

The problem I have with looking ahead for stretches like this is....A) how many of those teams will have that record when we play them and B) How many of them will we play when we are on a 4/5 streak and they are on a 1 and 6 streak etc..

Oh I agree with that, but I still found it surprising. You'd think we'd get the Royals or Orioles SOMEWHERE in there.
27 of those games are against the Rays, Red Sox, Yankees, Twins, Tigers, and Phillies. I'd say there's a pretty good chance at least all of those guys will still be right up there when we play them. The Reds and Blue Jays are both 8 games above .500 right now too. I'd expect both of them to fall off eventually, but that's still a tough, tough stretch coming up.

ok jeeze, that is rough. I would think wed get someone who was tetering. All those teams are pretty far over 500 now.
