I'd be very surprised if he hit 30 on the year.

The guy behind him, Miguel Cabrera (17) might end up with 45.

Yeah Miggy is absolutely on a tear this year. I have him on my fantasy baseball team and I don't think I'd trade him for anyone else in the league straight up as of now.

Cabrera is more your stereotypical power hitter but Bautista is off to a great start. Being a Tiger fan, I'd like to see Miguel continue to pound the ball and drive in a ton of runs. Let's see if the Tigers can get on a real roll and avoid those deadly 3 and 4 game losing streaks to inferior teams that seem to constantly keep the Tigers from being the team I think they are capable of being. You understand, of course, that now that I've made reference to it, the Tigers will go into one of those very same cold spells against teams that are on the bottom.

Bautista is definitely off to a hot start. But Bautista has hit more home runs so far this season than he has in any season in his career. Granted, it looks like hes never played a full season (usually plays about 115-120 games a year), but I'm still skeptical of his start. Maybe I'm wrong, but we will see.

The Blue Jays has a whole are on a tear and Bautista is swinging extremely well right now. That said, I won't be surprised if he cools down a bit. Cabrera on the other hand is a great all around hitter and is top 3 in each triple crown category. So long as Magglio, Boesch, and Guillen continue to give him protection, he will have a monster year.

he hit 2 absolute missles off of AJ Burnett the other night... hasn't got a hittable pitch the rest of the series to this point...

But he is a good hitter, at least I think he is. Hands are pretty quiet at the plate
