Anyone seen this? I know that this movie has been out for a while, but last night was the first time I've seen this movie. It was intense, but it has to be on of THE most far-fetched movies I've ever seen. I wanted to turn it off, but the only reason I did not was because I paid money to rent it. I hope my next two choices pay off: Men Who Stare at Goats, Couple's Retreat.
What do you guys think of 2012?

2012 got awful reviews so I've steered clear.
Heads up on "men who stare at goats" - it sucks

Why don't you piss on the disc and then return it. You won't get your money back but it will make you fell better about yourself.

That's all I read/heard before I saw it but I guess I don't get it, I thought it was hilarious.

I watched it, it had some good parts but I agree it was way to far fetched. Outrunning shit in an rv doesn't happen.

2012 was far fetched but so are a lot of movies so using that as an excuse in an action movie is a bit strange. The movie wasn't too good but it wasn't horrible.
I enjoyed the Men Who Stare at Goats but stay away from Coupled Retreat. That movie was terrible.

Didn't care for 2012. Haven't seen any of the other 2.

I mean really a pyroclastic flow in a RV?? That doesn't happen. Woody Harrelson was the shit though.

Watched [i[Couples Retreat[/i] last night. Liked it. I didn't expect it to be an Oscar performance. Vince Vaughn was funny, just as expected. Wanted to punch Jason Bateman, though.

Couples Retreat was OK. I had higher expectations I suppose. An average performance by Vaughn. Got a little off track IMO.
