I went to my local Radio Shack to buy the new EVO, the Sprint store was sold out. I had sprint three years ago and them bastards locked my account. The only way to unlock my account is to buy a phone from the corporate store or the website. Has anyone had any issues with this or switching back to another carrier they had before?

I couldn't tell you. I haven't heard of them locking an account unless there was a balance on it when it closed out.
I talked to a buddy today...and he said the Radio Shack and Best Buy systems were crashed due to all the high traffic with people buying the EVO.

Yes both best buy and the shack were down. There was no balance on the account. The guy entered my name and social and the system asked for a password. Sprint said since the account has be cancelled for more than 45 days that there is no password and that only sprint can get by the system asking for a password.
