Anyways, apparently he sprained his ankle and was taken in to get x-rays, which came back negative...he is listed as day to day.
THough it's not THAT bad of news, this type of news is never good with only 9 days til the England game, and Jozy is the last person USA wants to see injured.

Haha this thread has been up for only 30 min..I guess i could have posted it on the other soccer thread I started..you know, the one with close to 350 posts?
And not that I have a pic of Jozy in my basement, but are you seriously trying to tell me that having a poster of a sports player hanging on your wall is gay?

If Altiodore is out, the US is in some big trouble, Findley showed some good stuff against Turkey but I don't think he or any of the other strikers are at the level of Altidore right now. We also saw that playing Dempsey up top as a forward didn't work to well either in the first half against Turkey as he did his damage playing as a midfielder in the second half. Hopefully it really is a day to day injury and he will rest for about 5 to 7 days and be ready to go against England.

Thankfully this doesn't seem to be too bad would have been devastating if it was something serious. Hopefully he can be 100% on June 12th!

It sucks that he hurt himself because they probably have to sit him vs the Aussies. We need he and Dempsey to play up top for another game to get accustomed to it, if that is in fact what Bradley is gonna roll out on the pitch vs England.

if our defense wasnt so suspect and we didnt have to have landon donovan track back on defense, i'd like to see altidore up top solo, with dempsey and donovan behind him on the wings. torres in a holding spot.
