In this video is the final play of Zanesville's season. 3-2 ballgame bottom of the seventh 2 out and a runner on first is the situation.
The play begins at 1:35 of the video.

I don't think it was good enough camera angle to determine........ it actually looked like the kid was out at first to begin with

One major problem is the location of the umpire, he is behind the play and doesnt have a good angle on the play. Also after the tag(?) the fielder had plenty of time to transfer the ball from his hand to his glove(not shown in video). The umpire ran around home plate and then checked to see if the fielder had control of the ball and then called the runner out.
Its very tough to tell, but everybody around here has watched the video and said he was safe.
The play at first base was a very close play.

he's out. the umpire called it that way, that's the way it is. never make the last out at home plate!!!!

Just because that was the call does not mean it was thee correct call. You are telling me that umpires are always right?

no. i'm saying that it was a bang bang play and to his judgement he was out. nothing can be done whether the call was right or wrong. now quit crushing your sour grapes cause you're starting to whine
