I can't believe the Yankees originally signed him when he was 16... didn't last long in the system

It's good to see that he is playing again. Even after the Reds traded him, I continued to follow his career.

Didnt his original contract state he had to be in the Majors by a certain age or time in?
I think that really hurt his developement...he didnt have time in ML to develope.
