Umpire Joe West, White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen and pitcher Mark Buehrle were fined by Major League Baseball on Friday. I dont think West was fined soley for this incident, but in addition to what he said earlier in the year about the yankees/red sox games. honestly Guillen should have been tossed and i also think Buehrle should have been tossed too. even though he didnt say anything, i think his actions were enough.

I just heard it play out on the radio...never did see it, but by the description...i think Buerhle's response was absolutely the coolest way to show-up a grandstanding ump, which is exactly what Joe West is, and has been for years.
