White Cat brought me a second dead chipmunk in a week today. This time, instead of leaving it on the porch, he came in through the open front door and left it right on my living room floor! Neither chipmunk had been nibbled on...

He's left me other dead rodents the past couple years, in various degrees of remaining carcass. Had a cat when I was living at home in high school who literally brought me a mouse every morning one summer and left it on the patio. Side note...

Both of the cats have/had their front claws removed.

Any of your pets bring you a gift?

Our German Shepherd likes to catch moles. I don't complain too much, unless I don't see it and step on it.

Our family dog came up from the woods with a 20lb groundhog in its mouth one afternoon. My parents put a fence up the following week.

Yeah every now and then my calico will bring me a mouse. Mostly in winter. She's an indoor cat, so luckily, she takes care of the mouse problem before it becomes a real problem.

Now that the weather is warm and I let her out on the deck, she brings me dead wasps. I'm starting to think that she likes getting stung. She chews on them and sucks out the guts and brings me the empty and shriveled body. I can't imagine how many times she's getting stung with them.
She's probably not right in the head lol

I adopted an indoor cat this spring. Based on this, I guess I can look forward to some gifts next year when the mice from the field across the street try to find warmth in my house. :(

I don't. The Wife walks the Mutt daily and I get the details of the 'Gifts' that comes out of her Ass. Many of times The Mutt will push out some pudding after her 2nd poop that The Wife will have to pick up...It's the law where I live.

We did used to have a de-clawed Cat the ate the guts out of Crickets when she caught them...I miss The Diva. She died back in 2005...RIP

But Apple to answer your question...No...Sorry.

CURRENT TWO CATS:

1. Hairballs. The great thing about hairballs is how they do a great job of triggering my gag reflex if they're still moist. They tend to be that way nearly all the time when I get to them (unless they're left in a spot I don't interact with regularly). F'n A, dudes!!!!

2. Mice/moles. I live in the country, so they find their ways into my house. And often wind up found by me as a dead body. The best instance of this was when I woke up one morning and, after showering, went to the kitchen to get a glass of water. I had a good number of dirty dishes in my sink. A bowl filled with water (to soak out gunk stuck to the sides) had a mouse floating face-down. The first thing that popped into my brain was that one of my cats must have mafia ties and that critter fucked with the family.

A PREVIOUS KINDA-CAT:

When I was married, we lived in an apartment complex for about a year and a half. We took to feeding a couple stray cats for a little while. One day, we were sitting in our little patio area having a couple beers when one of them comes up with a damn rabbit in its mouth. Like a pretty decent-sized wild rabbit. We're like..."HOLYSHITWHATTHEFUCK?!?!?!?!" He lets go of it like it's a trophy he wants to display to us...it's still alive and runs away. He chases it and runs it down and starts to walk back to us while carrying it in his mouth. Really creeped out, we retreat indoors for the evening and close the blinds so we can't even see outside.

We had two trash bags of beanie babies in our basement. One by one my cat has brought up every single one of them and put them by my bed. I put them back and she brings 'em back up. Guess that's as close as an indoor cat can get to mousing.

We have been the recipients of endless mice, moles, birds, woodchucks, and assorted other "trophies" over our married lives and now, even though we live in town, we still get an occasional "gift" from our cat Huckleberry. It just goes with the territory.

Look at it this way. At least you won't have mouse poop in your cupboards! :)

Let's see..where do I start! My husky hates ANYTHING in the back yard that's not another dog or human! Her list includes:

Groundhogs (4)
Raccoons (1)
Moles (1)
Cats (too many to count)
Squirrels (3..a 4th possible victim but it might have been one of the other dogs kill)
And another dog that came under our fence that was trying to fuck with another dog we had.

We used to have a Dachshund back at home until she died, and now they have a Bichon Frise... both have managed to kill a small snake.

Does she like to get caught in the rain, and drinking pina colada's also?

Growing up we had an old farm cat which became part of the family. It was missing for a few days when we noticed it dragging something across the back yard. We went outside to see a cat covered in blood and pretty tore up. It was dragging a ground hog of about equal size.
Cat had to be rushed to the vet but lived.

Possibly the most bad ass cat ever.
