Some of these guys have freakish wingspans.

John Wall, Wesley Johnson, and Xavier Henry to name just a few.

Big surprise.

Freakish wing span is one of the things on the short list of what separates guys and their ability to play in the NBA--of course their are exceptions either way, but it's pretty consistent.

Damarcus Cousins can reach 9'5'' without leaving his feet.

Craig Brackins from Iowa State has a hand width of 11.25 inches.

Most people don't get this, but it is true. I've always thought height was an overrated measurement. Standing reach is more relevant.

Yeah, agreed, a lot of people don't get it. Look at the stars, nearly all of them have a freakish wing span (and technically a freakish wing span is anything bigger than your height). You can tell the most on Kevin Durant because he's so lanky, he could scratch his knee without bending his back at all lol.

Yea!!! Durant's wingspan is 7'4 3/4".
