So, what does everyone have planned for Memorial Day weekend, and what's on the menu?
I'll be spending the weekend in Carmel and Speedway, Indiana and attending the Indy 500 on Sunday. Several friends and I are making our second trip to the race, and we're planning on making it an annual guys weekend tradition.
I'm bringing my grill, and BBQ ribs will be on the menu.

I was too late to the game for camping this year, all the state and federal campgrounds within a four hour drive are booked solid.
That said, probably just take the dog out on some local hikes, sleep a lot, drink a lot of beer.

Not sure if I work on Monday but I'll be in Columbus all weekend at the bf's. We have a get together to go to Friday and other than that no plans...yet. I'd like to take his lab to the dog park at some point.

I really don't have anything significant planned other than a 5K on Monday morning. There will probably be some grilling in there somewhere though.

Child #3 is graduating this Saturday at 7:00, with her party also being Saturday from 1:00 to 4:00. Once that is all over I will be consuming very large amounts of liquor for the duration of the entire weekend. It's going to be a very busy rest of my week.

My daughter and her roommate coming in from Chicago and they are pickup a college friend to come to our house. They will be getting in Friday night some time. My other two daughters and their husbands and my four grand kids will be at my house on Saturday for a cook-out and back yard games. Hamburger or Ribs, home made potato salad, fresh corn cooked on the grill, water melon, bing cherries and lots to drink. That Saturday morning the group from Chicago and my wife will head up to Hartville Flea Market to spend money and buy junk. We could go canoeing also out of Canal Fulton that in question as of now. Sunday morning Church and from that point who knows what we will do ??? Hey anyone have any good ideas for Sunday please share….
Early Sunday very early before anyone gets up I will visit my mom grave and my wife father grave …….I do this every year without anyone knowing ..It’s my memory time of my past and those love ones that also served.

I think my wife and I will be spending the weekend at the country club since the pool is opening up on Saturday. I'll probably put in 9 holes each day and then relax at the pool for a while.
