I say to tell him to tell everyone he wants about how we're all evil and shit. At the least, it will be a temporary bump in traffic with all them wanting to see what people are saying about her. It also sets a terrible precedent when mods post the most "offensive" stuff on some threads. I know this place is just for fun and bullshitting and what-not but at least show a little restraint when posting (not directed at you fly).

But I completely disagree with the idea that the thread should be closed. I say remove the mod posts that are over the line and keep it up.
She's a celebrity and that thread has been done countless times for other celebrities.
Also, sorry about re-approving the post. I didn't think it was you who originally unapproved (didn't check the Mod-CP). But I also didn't think the thread needed ninja'd so I put it back out there. My mistake.

I agree with this. Mods should try to show a little restraint and not stir the pot too much on these sort of things (within reason), but I don't think we should close the thread. If we start closing threads for these reasons, it becomes a slippery slope and can simply engender more complaints. OK..not so much anymore..and I didn't really ever post anything 'offensive', but I definitely have had my share of pissing matches b/c I'm so fucking stubborn! I've actually tried to tone that down A LOT! (And I must say I've succeeded! YAY ME!) OK..continue on bitches...

I agree with the mods stepping back part. I'm as opinionated and as bull-headed as they come, but you'd definitely not get that from most of my posts. Some of the stuff we (and I'll say we to make it sound like I'm complaining about the moderators as a collective unit, but you all know who I'm talking about...and yes, I'm looking at you Fly4Fun ) put out there is just asinine.
I look at this like I look at my job...not that my job is as cool as moderating...I see dumbasses all day. I listen to their BS, and I pretend that I care. Really I want to tell them to do the world a favor and go play in traffic (and that's a vastly censored version of what i'd like to tell them) but I play nice and follow the rules and keep my opinion to myself.
