how do they do it if someone switches numbers? Like kobe from 8 to 24, and LBJ from 23 to 6? What one will be retired?

Maybe...he is their all time leading scorer already. Would be interesting to see if they would retire it....I doubt it, since he will be considered the anti christ if he leaves.

If he leaves, I think he'll sign a 3-year deal. If he DOESN'T go to Chicago, I don't think he wins a championship in that 3 years. Then I think he moves again. It's just a hunch I have.

I wouldn't be surprised if Kobe has 8 and 24 retired when it's all said and done.

Cleveland would be crazy not to retire 23 regardless of what he ends up doing. 2x MVP, easily the best player in your franchise history.
