Reds will face Adam Wainright who is working on being one of THE best pitchers in baseball. Shockingly the Reds don't hit him well. Ramon Hernandez is 1/3 with a double and Hanigan is 0-2 and Jonny Gomes is 0-3 with 3 K and Laynce Nix is 1/3 with a double.....so that might give some insight on who might play those positions.

Leake will go for the Reds so it could be s good 4-3 type of game.....again.

Don't let Pujols beat you.

Mike Leake is a stud.

Fooled Yadier Molina so bad on a slider that the bat went flying across the diamond.

Stubbs making LaDoucha and the Cards pay for intentionally walking Gomes.

4-2 Reds following the Stubbs triple.

Ramon walks and Leake's day is done after 6 strong Innings being replaced by Cairo

+1. What an awesome ending.

I have question though, why is Miguel Cairo the go-to guy for pinch hits? He is atrocious. Heck Mike Leake had a better average haha. (Small sample size... but still :) )

By the way, did anybody else think the Ernie Banks interview was awkward?

I think my last 2 sentences summed it up well in the 1st post of this thread.

Probably the best overall experience for a game all year in Cincy...awesome stuff went on all night

Ernie Banks talking about Toyota was quite awkward....lol

This was one night I leave Masset in instead of going to the closer......Masset threw as well as any pitcher I've seen all year....he was great freezing Ludwig and Pujols.

Jason Motte???? When did he start throwing 100? That looked like the zip a young Billy Wagner had. Anytime you make Jonny Gomes freeze on a 3-2 count with a fastball down the middle...you are bringing it like few others.

I might head down to the game tomorrow.

Motte has been around, but he isn't always that consistent and doesn't always throw that hard.

He's usually wild and prone to the long ball. He was bringing it tonight for sure though.

That and all that talk about getting Brandon Phillips (or anybody else brought up in the conversation) married.

That was only one thing that seemed odd. As was the talk about putting the Toyota sign in Wrigley
