Awesome news. Great show. Has looked dead in the water several times. NBC confirmed that Chuck will return for a 13-episode fourth season.

In other renewal news.....TNT has renewed SouthLAnd for a third season. That's another great show that I was worried about getting canceled.

This is great, but I wish they'd have given Chuck a full slate of episodes. The third season lacked because there was so much cheesy drama to boost ratings, I hope they get back to the humor that made the show great in the first place.
Plus, this show is the runaway winner of "best music." It's an indie fan's dream come true.

Chuck has never had a full order from fall upfronts. NBC usually orders 13 with a chance for 9, or 6 as was the case this year, on the back end. I think Chuck will get a full 22 for the 4th season in the end. Great news since this is probably my favorite show right now.
It's true that NBC may be the most poorly run network, so even though chuck was their third highest rated scripted show, there was still doubts that it would be renewed. Very glad to see it back and I hope that they extend it to a full fourth season.
I also agree that it wins the best music award. I'm not a huge indie music guy, but have discovered some great albums and new bands from songs they used on the show that I liked and researched after the fact.

Good episdoe tonight setting up next weeks two hour finale. very reminiscent of last years Chuck Versus The Dream Job which nicely set up the final two episodes of last year. Should be an interesting two hours next Monday
