With the NBA All-Star game being in Los Angeles next season, it would make sense from a marketing stand point for Shaq to have a farewell season with the Lakers.

It would also cement his HOF jersey being a Lakers one.

He could play behind Bynum, and take his usual 30 to 40 games off because the Lakers are so deep.

Kobe should be 1 ring ahead anyway, and I don't think he'd mind Shaq helping him tie Jordan.

If Kobe did tie Jordan, it wouldn't be because Shaq helped him. Shaq needs a freaking walker to get down court.

Aslo, Kobe may tie (or even beat) Jordan's title records, but he'll never be as great IMO.

I don't care where Shaq goes as long as it isn't here.

For Shaq to go to LA, LA has to want him... I doubt they do

I could see it happening, even though I really don't want it to happen.

All we heard from Cav fans (and Bruce Drennan on STO) was how Shaq would help the King get his Ring. Now he's a throw-away.
