1st-year Greenfield McClain head coach, Brent Eaton, has initated a program that he hopes will help keep the winning tradion well and alive at the Greenfield school. When time allows, Eaton's senior players are spending time helping with the junior high teams' practices, including running drills and providing inspirational talks about what it means to plays basketball at GM. Eaton, himself, takes time out of his busy schedule to also attend the jr. hi practices when he can.
Steve Rhoads, the Greenfield 8th grade coach, said the senior players do an outstanding job of teaching the fundamentals and they really get the young Tigers fired up.
I believe this is an excellent idea and can do nothing but help insure future success of McClain basketball.

that's great...they've helped out some with Little League in years past.
