The Beatles- Rubber Soul (made me obsessed with them for quite some time)
Coldplay- A Rush of Blood to the Head (got me into bands that go for sound texture and melody when I was younger)
Pink Floyd- Dark Side (there are so many reasons; the album is just unreal of course)

add sick of it all and biohazard to my list as well. That was about all the hardcore that On Cue carried in Chillicothe in 2000. now even small labels get good distibution deals and are available pretty easily.

Stked to see Sick Of It All in a few weeks at East Coast Tsunami fest outside of Philly with a ton of other great bands, havnt seen soia in years.

Brand New - Deja Entendu (I like their 3rd album "The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me" better but Deja had more of an effect on my life)

Death Cab for Cutie - Transatlanticism (I listened to this a lot when I was cutting weight for wrestling, don't know why but it made it easier to deal with)

Kevin Devine - Split the Country Split the Street (Opened my eyes to more indie and folky music including Elliott Smith)

LCD Soundsystem - Sound of Silver (Kind of introduced me to the fact that dance/techno can be more than just computers and can actually have good songwriting)

Modest Mouse - Lonesome Crowded West

There are countless more and I'll probably add to the list when it isn't so late at night.

Live After Death by Iron Maiden basically got me into heavy metal. It's my #1 by default because of that.

For a couple of others...Operation: Mindcrime might be the greatest concept album not named "The Wall" of all time, but is more special to me due to being around for its greatness when it happened. Dream Theater's "Scenes From a Memory Pt. II" is also deserving of respect in this category.

Frightened Rabbit's The Midnight Organ Fight definitely changed my life. It's just awesome, and a must have for anyone that's ever had their heart broken. Now, their indie rock, so nobody has ever heard of them, and they're also Scottish so they require a bit more attention due to their accent. But after a few listens you'll be hooked too. Just saw them in Cleve;and last week! So good.
