He also says in the article that Northwestern should make it's first NCAA appearance and be in and out of the top 25 all season.

The 'Cuse comes in at #17. Nice.
They won't be nearly as good as they were last season but they will still be a top 5 team in the Big East IMO.

Without doing any real research, the list looks pretty good to me. If Carolina is a Top 15 team next season, after what they went through this past year, I'll be happy.
Nice to see that you made the proper spelling adjustment to #1.

I think he has no freaking idea what he is talking about.
In one he did before everyone declared he said that with or without Jordan Crawford Xavier was a top 15 team. Now he doesn't even have them in it haha.
Even I emailed him and accused him of not actually watching basketball this year. X as a top 15 team is comical.

Yeah I lol'd when I saw Carolina at 11. I was thinking more like 18-22 range.
Obviously things are going to change from now til the season, just thought I'd throw this out there for all the junkies.
And Iron...I know no other spelling.

And you can stop posting over here if you think Baylor is the number 1 team in the country.
And take your homer glasses off. Florida is lucky to be at 10.

Lol. Florida needs this recruiting class coming in to just be 'good'. They will flirt with the top 25 this year and thats it.

I was thinking UNC would come in at around 15, but we'll see.
I really like our recruiting class and like the ideal that we're going to be shortening up the rotation.

List gives a good idea of what teams should be good. Washington will probably have an up and down year again, but are capable of having a decent little run in the NCAA tournament.
I think there is a consensus top 4, where they fit in the five who knows.
Michigan State, Duke, Baylor, Purdue.

I know West Virginia lost Ebanks and Butler, but with Bryant, Jones, Kilicli, Mitchell, and others returning along with the new recruits (I love the Cottrill kid) coming in I have to think they'll crack the Top 25 pretty early.

Florida is NOT a top 10 team. Not buying that one for a second. And I honestly am not sure I would put OSU in the top 10 until I see someone step up and play the PG position. I think I'd have them 10-15. If someone steps at the PG position, then they can be a top 10 team.

Florida is top 20, not top 10, IMO. I would probably put them around 15-16.

If the 'Cats hadn't suffered injuries, this likely would've been the case this year. As it is, they made a pretty respectable showing after losing multiple starters to injury.wildcats20;352854 wrote:He also says in the article that Northwestern should make it's first NCAA appearance and be in and out of the top 25 all season.

I agree.
And I agree with him about this coming year. I think they will surprise some people in the B10.

Just when I think I'm recovering from last season, I have to read that stuff. I'm sick all over again.
