It is really sad and prayers go out to his family but someone has to put an end to all these threads. There is like 10 now.

How sad. Great lady and love her husband. I knew it was close because Chris hadn't been on any broadcasts. Will be praying for this family.

Prayers and thoughts to Chris and all the family involved. I would think that Chris was probably preparing himself for this for quite sometime now, but it's never easy losing a loved one, most especially the person you are in love with and supposed to be spending a lifetime with. I'm sure it's a very tough time, but a very peaceful feeling as well, that knowing after her very long, courageous fight, she is in a place where she no longer has to deal with the pain anymore. She was an inspiration for so many people, and she will be fondly remembered and greatly missed.

According to an article I read, this disease came back for the fifth time. Going thriugh treatments 5 times makes her tougher than her husband ever was, I'm sure Chris would agree with that.

Finally, she is at peace.

not only was the Spielman family an inspiration to Buckeye Nation, but to the entire country as well...the sacrifices Chris and his family made were something that we all say we would do,but unless confronted with the situation, never know if we could do..God Bless the Spielman family

Surely she was proud with what she was able to accomplish in fund raising for the cause. And she fought for a very long time.

I didn't know she was that bad until I saw her at the Navy game when Chris was honored and she was in the wheelchair. Thoughts and prayers go out to the Spielman family. Her name will live on through her charity work!

With the Buckeyes putting a special decal on their helmets today vs that other team, will Massillon do anything special tonight?

PRAYERS TO THE SPIELMAN FAMILY.

Wasn't aware who this was until this weekend...but apparently they've forced a lot of good out of this horrible situation...very commendable. Very strong people.
