Personal preference, but Spanish/Dutch/S. American soccer is the most enjoyable followed closely by English and then German.
Italy dives (or a little more accurate, exaggerates) the most of any international team. But it isnt as if other dont do it as well. Hell, until recently Portigal mightve had them beat, but Ronaldo has changed his ways. I dont think it really detracts from anything...I dont think it detracts from ANY team that does it. It just so happens that it coincides with the style of soccer I hate the most to watch, so it sort of adds to me not liking the Italian National Team. But, I think Spain dives quite a bit, and I love Spain. The diving gets annoying, but they are still my second favorite team internationally and them being pretty big divers doesnt take away from that.
I got Spain winning the cup! Diving irks me no matter who does it, but like you said Italians are known for it. Spain was doing it quite a lot during the Euro. As a national side I pull for them because I enjoy watching their matches and their style of play is awesome. David Villa is also one of my favorite players. So sad to see him leave Valencia

I spent a few days there in '07....awesome city. He was a GOD there.
