Time to right the ship.
Let's go Tribe.

Tigers up 3-1 already. Cabrera has gone yard for a 2 run shot in the first and Grady Sizemore hit his first homer of the year for the Tribe.

7-1 Tigers. The Indians ship is going nowhere but further underwater.
Go Cavs!

The tribe is horrible. Dick Jacobs is turning over in his grave wondering how Dolan and the front office have screwed things up so bad that we're back to watching 80's tribe baseball with 70's tribe attendance.

I happened to switch over to the Indians game at half time of the Cavs games. Just in time to see the explosion.

Tribe's rally took long enough to keep the game from becoming official.

Tigers with a nice win today 6-4 over the Tribe. Verlander pitched well and Zumaya and Valverde close the door at the end. Indians struck out 15 times today, which is just miserable. Pitching hasn't been all bad but if they can start hitting they should be alright.

Valbuena goes 0-3 (.167), gets caught stealing, and commits his 5th error.
Marson goes 0-3 (.200) with 3 Ks.
LaPorta goes 0-4 (.203), and now has 0 HR and 1 RBI in 74 at bats. On pace for 0 HR and 6 RBI for the season.
Good thing we signed Branyan too. He provided a clutch pinch hit K in his only at bat.
The future is bright! No wonder Shapiro is getting promoted to team president instead of being fired!
P.S. welcome back Kerry Wood. 0-1 with a 27.00 ERA after 1 appearance.
Meanwhile the Acta-less Nationals won again today and moved to 16-14. But he's a good manager and nobody could possibly win with that team (even though they went 26-61 with him last year and 33-42 without him).
Everything about this team not named Choo makes me want to vomit.

Can we please put Grady back in the leadoff spot? This 'experiment 'has gone on long enough. He struggled when Wedge batted him 3, and he obviouisly can't hit in the 2 hole....time to put him back where he's comfortable. Time to give Marte some extended time. Send LaPorta back to Columbus and let him get well.
JP with another o-fer. Hafner with some signs of life.
Here's the lineup when Druby is back...I hope.
Sizemore
Cabrera
Choo
Kearns
Hafner
Peralta
Marte/Branyan
Redmond/Marson
Valbuena/Grudzlienak
If Branyan or Marte start to hit, move them up to protect Hafner.
