Gun pulled in school bus dispute over snack cake

LAFAYETTE, Ga. -- Police in northwest Georgia said a student on a school bus pulled an unloaded gun, threatened to use it and pulled the trigger while pointing it at another student in a dispute over a snack cake.
LaFayette Public Safety Director Tommy Freeman told the Chattanooga Times Free Press the 14-year-old middle school student has been charged with aggravated assault, making terroristic threats and possessing a weapon on school property.

No one was hurt in the April 29 dispute that involved an unloaded .44-caliber revolver. Freeman said students were "throwing Twinkies around and evidently had an altercation about it."
Freeman said Wednesday that the terroristic threat charge stems from "when you verbally tell somebody you are going to kill them and then you take an action do do so."
"One of the victims knocked the gun out of his hand, and then the school bus driver contacted the school system," he said.
Freeman said an investigation is continuing. A hearing is set for May 14.
He said the teenager brought the unloaded weapon from home and "had ammo with him, but it didn't fit that weapon."
A county schools spokeswoman said the student has not returned to school. His parents were not charged.
Freeman said the gun threat is "just another instance of children having access to guns and not knowing the ramifications of having a gun and pointing it at another individual."
"Once the gun discharges, you can't take it back," he said.

Me and a high school buddy were strip searched over a twinkie.

I was in the lunch line and he asked me to get him a twinkie. So I got it for him and we exchanged cash for said twinke in the hall way. A teacher saw the transaction from about 50 feet away.

We were both herded tho the office where they called the police. They had us empty out our pockets.
the twinkie ended up on the table and we were both there standing in out underwear. they were looking for drugs and only got to see a couple of teens in their underwear.

Ahhhh... High school... good times :)
