According to a report on BallinEurope.com, the injury to LeBron James' right elbow is "way worse than is generally known" and the Cavs' superstar should not be playing in his present condition.

"A source close to the Cleveland Cavaliers who wished to remain anonymous has admitted that LeBron James should not [be] playing with his injury in its current state," the report reads. "Apparently, the damage is enough that the right arm of King James ... is having great difficulty in carrying anything heavier than a basketball."

The report is from an affiliate of ESPN's TrueHoop Network but cannot be independently verified.

I'm sure it is.

Just like I'm sure Kobe's knee is a lot worse than expected. And Manu's nose. And every other injury in the League right now.

They could put like Hockey and declare it an upper body injury, thats what I would have done in the first place. No sense in your opponent/enemy knowing your weakness.

I don't believe this.

RealGM and Ballineurope.com aren't very reputable in my eyes.

If this is true, Windy would be all over it, and he's not.

I don't think it's true either.

If it was more seriously injured, I would think LBJ would be wearing more of a splint or something on it.

Bastard probably hurt it hoisting up those damn MVP trophies :)

haha..

Also, Game 1 LeBron seemed "ok", just as he did in spurts of game 2..

Now, I do think it's hurt, but not as bad as the media is portraying it out to be.

I hate the fact that the NHL allows this. I miss the old days of "The Law of Opposites".

If this were used in the NBA...
LeBron would have a left knee injury
Kobe would have an elbow injury
Ginobili would have a groin injury

Dunno for sure. But in hindsight, it was very strange that LBJ sat for all 4 regular season games to end the season.

You mean, instead of wearing a maxipad across his face, it'd be across his junk? Hmm.. Maybe then he could be listed questionable with "Menstrual Cramps"...

LMAO, yeah...because BallinEurope.com must know--and they also must push the Cavs company line...lol.

This has to be bullshit. If he had a hard time lifting things heavier than a basketball then it would be far more noticeable during the game. He's hurting, but it's time for the media to stop. They continue to push this story harder and harder and then deflect the attention onto LeBron as if he's making it an excuse. I mean, I get it, it gets peoples attention. But if he shouldn't be playing then he won't play--he already said that. He won't be out there if he can't be productive. Look at the numbers from the 1st two games. Still productive. Didn't have his best stuff in game 2 but he is not the reason they lost the game, he still put up some good numbers.

We'll see. His passive effort in game 2 can at least give rise to the thought that it's worse than a bruise.

If he gives a similar effort in game 3 and the Cavs lose, we'll have all the confirmation we need.

I do think it's a little overblown....after Game 1 there was no injury to speak of, but after Game 2 his arm was to be amputated.

Just get back to Cleveland 2-2.

From that:
It's just a crutch for the egomaniac, The King with No Rings.
What a fucking joke, this is exactly what I'm talking about. The media has made this a big story, and then certain people (Skip Bayless was one of them) have deflected the attention on LeBron as if he is making an issue out of it. All he has done is answer the questions asked of him and said nothing more than "no excuses, lots of guys are banged up". LOL...as each day passes I see our society slowly slipping to the depths of the movie Idiocracy as far as intelligence--thanks in large part to our media who just wants you to be a fucking drone.

The Tickle Me Elbow thing did make me lol though.

I could be wrong, but I even think Doc Rivers is even making a mockery of this by stating about KG and Perkins conditions.

Wtf are you talking about? I don't see any Cavs fans making a big deal about the elbow either way. I love how you randomly make stuff up.

He's dinged up, just like everybody else. He didn't play a good game two. Let's move on. He's fine.
