What do you think?

Many people say it is the SEC?

I ask How can you say the SEC is the best conferance if two teams are undefeated and they are beating the rest of the conferance.

5 or 6 years ago I would have said yes the SEC would be the toughest conferance. But why? becouse then, all of the SEC teams were beating each other kind of like today with the ACC this year. 5-3 and still have a shot at winning the conferance???

What is the toughest Football Conferance?!?! as of right now!

As much as I hate to say it, its gotta be the SEC. That is the most physical league I've ever seen.

It's the SEC. On the biggest stages with the brightest lights they always perform. 1-12 it's the best conference in the country.

SEC- the strength lies not just at the top (Florida, Alabama, LSU), but with very solid programs in the middle (Auburn, South Carolina, TN, Arkansas, Ole Miss). In addition, I think any conference that has a championship game is tougher to win because the extra game provides another shot for a team to go down (see Texas/Nebraska a few years back).

The SEC has the most top recruits every year. I think they have the best coaches too.

It's tough to come up with a method. To compare conferences, do you put the 1 vs the 1 and the two vs the two? Do the top of matchups count for more?
