but weren't.
Sneaking on the roof of parks tower at UT on July 4th.
Me and 2 other guys each grabbed a 12 pack, walked up the 16 flights of stairs and went out on the roof. Spent about 35 minutes up there watching fireworks until the UTPD saw us. Only reason they saw us was because they were on top of the glass bowl press box. They came up, obviously not happy, took our beer, gave us a lecture and sent us packing.
Even though we were almost arrested, it was still worth it. You could literally see fireworks going off all around you for probably 10 miles.

breaking into my high school to play basketball in the gym.
being drunk and throwing a road flare at a house causing what i assume was several hundred dollars in melted siding and window trim.
getting high during a "walkout" to protest lack of bathroom breaks.

I was drunk one night walking from bar to bar, and I thought I was at the one-way street we had to cross, so I just looked one-way and took off across the street. My sober buddy was on his phone and not paying attention. I hear a horn and squealing tires, look over and see a city cop. I thought I was done for, but he just told me to just make sure I was careful while crossing the street. Probably would've been arrested if my sober buddy wasn't with me.

brutus161, I have to tell you that your post has elements of bad taste present, but on the other hand, there is a certain element of "gallows humor" that I find mildly amusing. The only other question I have is do you play golf at expensive country clubs, because if you do, I'm surprised that OJ didn't find you in his exhaustive search for his wife's killer quite a few years ago.brutus161 wrote: Killing Nicole Brown Simpson.

My idiotic friends and I used to hit golf balls off of our roof on Oak Street in downtown Columbus over I-71 ... yes, absolutely retarded. I still cringe thinking about that.

Only once..
I was 18 or 19 and working at a strip club.
Each day, I would clean trash off our lot and surrounding lots but one day I didn't get around to it and our neighbor threw bottles that were left on their grass into our parking lot and busted them then said he would keep doing the same thing if they wasn't cleaned up by the time he got there each day.
Late one night my manager and I decide to start throwing bottles, rocks and etc at their windows and my manager broke a window in the back of their building.
A few hours later I forgot all about it and was sent to Wal-Mart to pick some stuff up for the bar.
Was heading down Rt. 60 and noticed a deputy cruiser behind me then noticed one going in the opposite direction turn around and 3-4 more cruisers come up from behind which meant there were 5-6 cruisers behind me.
Eventually one got up beside of me and started pointing toward the side of the road meaning pull over.
They all start sliding in around my car sideways like I had just robbed a bank or something and asked why I wasn't stopping.
Said they had their lights on all along.
It was the kind of lights that only flashed out the back.
I wasn't cuffed but they took me downtown and I was booked then released.
It ended up thrown out in court because nobody showed up to prosecute the case.

I don't see how I made it out of high school without getting in trouble or killed - we were SO stupid. I have to say my kids were better behaved than I was (or just really good at covering their tracks!).

One fine summer evening in 1981, a buddy and were going to the Rock on the Dock in downtown Sandusky. Right after exiting the car after locking the doors I realized the keys were still in the ignition. That in itself wasn't so bad, but we left a little something on the console in plain sight that I really didn't want anyone to see. We bummed a clothes hangar from a nearby store and commenced to work the hanger in the window when up rolls a Sandusky PD cruiser. Now I'm fighting the hanger and buzz-kill as fast as possible but getting nowhere fast. The officer is talking into his mic and running my plate. The car was a 79 Chrysler Cordoba (yes with rich Corinthian leather seats!) with T-Tops, usually easy to pop the lock, but not at that time. The officer gets out of the cruiser and I stop fishing and meet him at the back bumper. He asks if I'm iref and asks for my license, which I fortunatley had. He just wanted to make sure that I was indeed the owner of the car and not breaking into it. Now my buddy is trying to get in w/o success. The officer explains that he doesn't have a lockout kit in his cruiser but his partner is coming from across town to bring it. We politely declined, and my buddy finally got the lock. I figured soon after that it was time to drop that bad habit sitting on the console in the baggie, so maybe it was a blessing in disguise.

Not sure whether I should list some of the dumb stupid human tricks we used to pull. Is there a statute of limitations on crime? lol Never got caught drinking though when I was younger, would wait till the cops started chasing everyone running out the back and jumping out the windows of the party house then would walk right out the front door and leave. Pretty amusing when they would chase everyone m and few friends would wait and just walk away.
