The tribe is down 2-0 after the top half of the first after a morneau(sp) home run.

Sizemore continues to look like a player who has lost it.

I think that he is watching too many good pitches early in the atbat. In my opinion he needs to be more aggressive

Rondon gets the start for Columbus tonight and in the first he gives up four hits, three earned runs.
He has stunk all season.

And Peralta
Bases loade with no outs.
Carmona gets a strikeout followed by a doubleplay ball that LaPorta didn't pick.

Will the Tribe send any of the struggling hitters down or will they ride them out to see what happens?

They will ride them out but I think they should send them down

Valbueno is the worst second baseman I have ever seen in turning the double play. Clueless. And he's hitting below the Mendoza line.
I need to find something better to do than watch this group play shitball.

Valbueno has never shown me much though some on here seem to like him plus having stone hands at first does not help any infielder when it comes to turning the double play.

I admit Laporta should catch that ball. A high school kid will pick that scoop 9 out of 10 times. But that's not the point. That double play was taylor made even with the speedy Spam running. It was an easy turn and he throws it in the dirt. Valbueno has been God awful all year long with it.

Very disappointing. I had high hopes for Rondon.newarkcatholicfan wrote: Rondon gets the start for Columbus tonight and in the first he gives up four hits, three earned runs.

Me too.
Now that he is using more than the fast ball he is slowly doing better. He has had one bad inning tonight and two good ones.
I think he will turn it around in the next few starts.

The catching duo for the Tribe has to be the worse in baseball at throwing runners out.

Well said it was an easy double play ball in which Valbuena had plenty of time to make a good throw. I am not sure I'd he rushed or if he just made a bad throw. Either way LaPorta should have picked it, but it is Valbuena's fault for making a bad throw.Footwedge wrote: I admit Laporta should catch that ball. Why does Carmona step so far towards first base when he throws it?

Who gives a shit if a runner swipes a base on him? Good grief, the kid can hit.newarkcatholicfan wrote: Clippers down one and another runner swipes a base against C.S.
Why don't you become a NYY fan and spare us all with the BS comments and in-game reporting you do.
Better yet, go back and post on JJ Huddle and forget this place ever freaking existed.

And Fausto can't figure out that Cuddyer is pulling off the ball and leaving the whole outer half of the plate unprotected. No fuggin brain at all.

Clippers now trail 6-2 after five.
Rondon sees his ERA jump back over nine on the season.
