You can probably expect the usual handfull of shit bands like Limp Bizshit, Godsuck or possibly Avenged Bitchfold but still should be a strong line up.

Ozzy is supposed to headline this year as well. Lets hope it comes to Columbus (Crew Stadium perhaps?), and I would be psyched to see Metallica, Down, and Rammstein, who recently got the ok to tour again in the U.S.

Yeah bitchfolds drummer died and it's actually sad because he was pretty much the only talent in the band. Jimmy Sullivan was a very talented drummer trapped in a pop metal band. The legions of over testosteroned fan boys who made his passing out to be some kind of national tragedy were pretty annoying though.

Yea theres only so much whining from Zakk Wylde's guitar that I can take at a time...Its like White Castle: You have cravings for it every once in a while , but then you wont have it in a long ass time lol

first 5 bands on the second stage would be ok, the rest, not so much
For me, Kataklysm probably would be the second-stage highlight. Other bands are good, but they're the only one that I've liked enough to actually spend money to obtain their music.

this is honestly such a disappointment of a setlist for what the rumors were. Motley Crue? Are you kidding me? I'm sure even Tinkertrain would have rather seen Limp Bizkit than them.

I'd rather see the crue anyday of the week over bizshit. Atleast Motley Crue can put on a shits and giggles show. Bizshit just fucking blows all the way around.

i really dont see how people actually expect anything out of ozzfest, its generally been a shit fest with 3-6 good bands on it, as it is again this year(yeah there are years with more good bands then bad, but not consistantly).. seems the ozzfest crowd is still the nu-metal/radio friendly metal crowd and old dudes who wanna get wasted and sun burnt, and for the most part this fits them perfectly.
you want a real good metal fest him up Maryland Death Fest, usually has an insane line up. even some of the good regional metal fest are better then the majority touring metal festivals, because for a huge touring metal festival to survive they have to get bands that draw mainstream money or bands that are willing to pay 75,000 just to play the second stage of ozzfest.

Id love to go to Maryland Death Fest but my work schedule doesnt permit it unfortionetly. The line up this year is BRUTAL!!!
My geology professor mentioned Ozzfest last lecture. He was talking about how he kept getting "recognized" as Tommy Chong one year that he was at Ozzfest.
