Pretty good choice.

Anyone know when LeBron gets his MVP award?

Varejao should win this, what a joke.

Crawford got all but 30 possible points.

Pretty sure it was during the ECFs last year. I could be wrong but I remember being pissed that it was awarded before game 2 and they all got the MVP shirt. I went to game 1 and got a boring One Goal shirt.

As far as it just being announced...no idea.

LOL, AV finishes third..

Didn't someone try to "inform" me that he wouldn't sniff this award?

Crawford is a deserving winner though.

Yeah pretty obvious choice. Varejao had a nice season, but you'd have to be a complete homer to think that he was more deserving than Crawford

Not really. PPG just trump everything in most people's minds. But if you could take into account what Andy does to stop the other team from scoring as compared to Crawford--I bet their true PPG would be about the same. But there is no real way of keeping that stat. +/- tries to sort of do that, but that's not really what it tells you.

LeBron got his MVP trophy during Game 2 of the 2nd round.. It could have been Game 1 though, I'm not sure..

I do know it was against the Hawks.

Ha. I thought the OP meant Joey Crawford. Joey is the 6th man award winner for the Lakers.

Game 1 vs the Hawks in the 2nd round. They passed out the black MVP LBJ shirts to everyone.

Good choice and the voting is just about what everyone thought it would be. Varejao means a lot to the Cavs but voters don't care about defense enough for him to get the award over Crawford.

Then by that thinking...Kevin Durant should win the MVP right??

I was at the game and got one of the shirts and still had to look up which game it was.

Get any tix yet? We are sitting out this set of Home games. Hope to make it before the end of the season.
