By all accounts she has never let the fame get to her head. She was on some MTV show where she was a prom date for some average joe, and she genuinely seemed to enjoy the experience!

She's adorable and talented....and it always seems as though she enjoys doing things for others. Not sure how anyone could truly dislike her. Maybe her music...but not her.

Yeah, id probably hit it(in hopes of having a kid by a multi millionaire)...but stick figures really arent my style. Training bra and no ass=no bueno.

Awesome story, I never heard the prom date story, might have to look that up on youtube or something.

I am not a big country fan so I couldn't name 2 songs of her's (couldn't have named one until reading that article) but she seems like a geniunely nice/down to Earth girl.

I'm not a huge fan of her music, but have always been impressed by how composed she seems to be for someone so young. By all accounts, she is pretty much responsible for all facets of her music, concerts, and public image. She seems to be a very intelligent young woman.

Not really a fan but kinda funny here. One of my best friends daughters loves her. I think this was last summer of 09 we were playing volleyball and her daughter was 4-5yrs old. I pulled up music for her on my Iphone and she was listening while we played. I asked her what she was listening to she responded with Taylor Swift and asked me if I liked her? Not even thinking my response was no she's a butter face. Poor little girl, though of course not knowing what it means, started crying her eyes out knowing I said something mean about Swift. I felt horrible and her mom and all my friends yelled at me!!

Agreed. Not a country music fan at all, but I saw in concert at Marietta College a couple of years back and she was pretty good.I respect her as an artist and as a role model. I like the fact that she writes her own songs.

I hate country music rather fervidly, but I don't understand how anyone could hate Taylor Swift. By all accounts she's a legitimate talent and extremely nice. In a world of talentless teen stars and all the jackasses in Hollywood, I don't know how you could hate her and not have issues of your own.

I hear her one song all day - something like "I'm the One for You" and didn't pay much attention to it, but I finally saw the video and I loved seeing a teenage girl make a video that was completely age appropriate and sweet. I'm tired of teenage girls making videos trying to be a slutty as possible (read Britney...). I don't have a daughter, but if I did, I would like her to look up to Taylor Swift over so many of the other "teen" singers.
