Missed the opening down in Columbus last month, I'll be down there next month I hope. Found this nice little tour video, definitely an upgrade for those that remember the old one.
they should have Michigan M's painted at the bottom of every toilet.

Watching that was like watching the Blair Witch Project if the camera man had done an eight ball first.

Geez, definately not the Ohio Union I remember from the early '80's.

As if south campus weren't flourishing enough already with the gateway renovations, the opening of The Union brings it alive. For the first time since I have been here the east side of the south oval is finally not cluttered with construction trailers and machinery.
Completely lights up the entire area. Not to mention so much to do inside.
Study rooms, diner open 22 hours a day, nice bar with a great setting and pretty good pizza, food court dining area, ballroom is huge and amazing, multiple meeting rooms, and even a movie theater.
With this opening, Thompson opening recently, the high acclaim of the medical center, and the parking garage on lane, this campus is slowly but surely becoming one of the best in the country for whatever my biased opinion is worth.
