I'm considering burning the dvd rather than returning it to Netflix. What a horrible, horrible film. Richard Kelly should be ashamed about what he's done since the (overrated) Donnie Darko film.

It is very bad, but doesn't even compare to Ashley Judd's.....Bug

I paid to see it at the theater so think of how I feel lol. Also Eye Of The Beholder with Ashley Judd was horrible.

I remember wanting to see this movie badly when it was being promoted. I kinda forgot all about it until a couple months ago when I was going to rent it. I didn't because the guy I was going to watch it with said he had heard it wasn't the greatest. So... we passed on it. I was hoping to watch it at a later time, but if you guys say it isn't that great, in fact it's awful, then I might have to pass :(

How could you not tell that it was going to be awful from the trailers?

It sounded like it had a pretty cool premise.

If this is the movie I'm thinking of, it was good...when it was a Twilight Zone episode (at least the '80s version, if not also the original). Stretching the fairly thin plot out to a full-length movie was utterly stupid.

My top 3 "worst movies" of all time...

1.) Fargo (The way they talked really pissed me off)
2.) 9 months (the movie felt like it took 9 months to end)
3.) Marley and Me (The ending was just wrong)

Never saw "the box" and after the awesome reviews, I will never see it.

How was the ending in "Marley and Me" wrong? It's a true story lol..

I saw the Box the other day.. Thought it was bad., but worth a watch.

I found it funny that the women were the ones always "pushing the button".. lol Gold diggers.

Yea, the Box was really bad.

Also really Bad Lovely Bones.

It too looked like it had potential by looking at the trailers, but it was utterly horrible. Too much fairy tale bull shit.

However, I liked Avatar.

The book the Lovely Bones wasn't half bad. I would give it a 3/5.

I heard the book was good, but I've never read it.

USUALLY, when you make a book a movie, it doesn't turn out good.

Movies are never ever as good as the book. I always have to read the book before I see the movie, I can't get into the book after I see the movie for some reason.

That's too bad you couldn't appreciate some talented actors pulling off an authentic accent.

The worst movie title begins and ends with M. Night Shyamalan's "The Happening." In some countries, a script that bad would be worthy of a death penalty.

If the Box is the worst movie someone has seen then they haven't seen many movies. Have you seen Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter? I think not.
