I can think of some people who might need it. I am glad that some have already been banned (not self imposed either).

I'm offering this simply for people who want it for a short period of time so they are not distracted. Many forums do this for college students come exam time. They will request a self ban starting the friday before exams and have it end after their last exam. I used to do it from my favorite forum when I was in college. I would be trying to study and catch myself reading posts for hours.
