There is a new feature installed for banning users from a specific forum. In Mod CP you see a "Forum Banning" option now. Use that if the person just needs a timeout from a specific forum (i.e. Politics).

bad ass!! I'll use this for violating first warnings. Obviously if someone gets extremely out of hand, I'll still make a normal ban, but it would have to be something like Isadore did or Mr. 300 (multiple personal attacks in a row and then calling another member "easy")

I made a self ban request thread in the poli forum.
Have you thought about offering it to everyone on the Main forum, seeing as how exams are coming up?
