Lebron 37 points, 12 rebounds, 11 assists
Wade 46 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists
Announcers and people on here were talking about Wade's performance being one of the best all time..so it prompted this question in my head.

Numbers alone-LBJ
Wade's obviously meant more because it was an elimination game.

Wade's.
It's just another average game for Lebron.

You know the Detroit Pistons saw these two go off, and then took a gander at the stat-stuffing scoresheet that fellow 2003 draftee Darko Milicic provided in 2+ seasons with them haha ... wow what a bad pick.

Wade was awesome but its tough to top a triple double in the playoffs. I gotta go with Lebron

I'd probably have to give it to Wade because he did it with an enormous amount of pressure, very little help from teammates, and with the series on the line.
Both guys' efficiency was simply staggering.
Wade was 16-of-24 from the field (67%), 5-of-7 from 3-point territory (71%), and 9-of-14 from the line (64%).
LeBron was 11-of-17 from the field (65%), 6-of-9 from 3-point territory (67%), and 9-of-10 from the line (90%).
Scoring 37 points on 17 FGAs is just nuts.... Crazy efficiency from both Wade and LeBron today.

LBJ had more pressure than Wade did..that series was 3-0, everyone knows the Heat wont win the series...Lebron lets Chicago back in it at 2-2 would put a little more pressure on Cleveland.

D-Wade. Pretty incredible what he done in the fourth quarter. LeBron has set the bar so high for himself, today was just kinda ordinary for him.

Both were amazing.
But, i would have to with Wade, i guess, given the situation and Wade's fourth quarter.

BS. Wade had more pressure, he was down 0-3 like you said. Everyone on that Miami team still believes they can win that series and you can take that to the bank.SportsAndLady wrote: LBJ had more pressure than Wade did..that series was 3-0, everyone knows the Heat wont win the series...Lebron lets Chicago back in it at 2-2 would put a little more pressure on Cleveland.
Wade's without a doubt in this situation. LeBron's was incredible, but if you watched both, Wade's was better. Pulled that team back by himself and capped it off, his jump shot when crazy for awhile. But what it did for his team puts him over the top--especially when you look at how some of his teammates played. LeBron had a big day but the Cavs had a pretty good team effort today.

No to mention LeBron scored how many point and had how many assists and grabbed how many boards when the game was close??
Not to take anything away from LeBron, but he was doing this in a game that wasnt ever close in the second half.

LeBron pretty much got the team off to a great start and then turned it on and took over, and when he turned it on is when they broke the lead open. So it's still impressive in it's own right.

Wade's performance was above Leboob's, but mainly because DWade had to do it. No one else on that team can carry the Heat. Leboob has a great cast around him now.

Come on, man. The Cavs could have lost the game today and they still would almost certainly win the series. If the Heat lose today, their series is over. Close-out games are ALWAYS more pressure-filled.SportsAndLady wrote: LBJ had more pressure than Wade did..that series was 3-0, everyone knows the Heat wont win the series...Lebron lets Chicago back in it at 2-2 would put a little more pressure on Cleveland.
On top of that, Wade's big threes, which he hit in rapid fire succession, came when the Heat were actually trailing. LeBron's avalanche of points came late in the game with the Cavs already up by 15+.

I don't think down 0-3 is that much pressure....at taht point no one expect them to win the series.
I think there was more pressure in game 3 to not go down 3-0 as that is darn near insurmountable.

I mean im not saying if it was 2-2 the Cavs would be in trouble or anything like that...im just saying there would be more pressure to win 2 of 3, rather than win 1 of 3.RedBlackAttack wrote:Come on, man. Close-out games are pressure filled...when youre down 3-2 or maybe even 3-1...but not 3-0 when everyone knows you're gonna lose anyways.

It doesn't matter what anyone else thinks. You expect yourself to win the series, and especially to not get swept on your home court. It's hilarious to think LeBron felt more pressure today, plus his team never got down by 15+. Some people think it might have been his last game in Miami if they lost. If he doesn't want to stay then why come out and play so hard? Winning is everything.

Not saying the Cavs would be in trouble, but being up 3-1 is so much more comforting than being tied 2-2.

But LeBron didn't have as much pressure. He might of felt more of a sense of putting them away on their home court--urgency to win so you can go back to Cleveland and close out. But there is no way he felt as much pressure, like RBA said, they could have lost today and it just becomes a 3 game series with 2 in Cleveland. D-Wade loses and their season is done, ending with getting swept on your home floor.

Miami already knows their season is done..not one person on that team can say they actually thought theyd win anything, being down 3-0 already. When you play with nothing to lose, you have a lot less pressure on your shoulders.

No, this is the casual fan point of view because you don't think they have a chance.SportsAndLady wrote: Miami already knows their season is done..not one person on that team can say they actually thought theyd win anything, being down 3-0 already. They don't read the papers or follow the stats--all they know is they have another game. The players do not share the same view that you just described. If they did they wouldn't be professionals.
