I've done that. But fuck wearing dirty underwear. Once they come off they aren't going back on until they're washed.

i have thrown out underwear instead of trying to wash them. spending a few weeks out in the field, even if you get a chance to change them, nothing will get that kinda funk out.

I definitely bought more because I was out. I also do that with socks!

Famine underwear are clean, they're usually just your holy underwear.

But yes, there are a few pairs that I continually toss to the bottom of the pile in favor of newer, cleaner, better fitting pairs, until at last it comes down to it.

No famine underwear here. I keep my supply fresh by buying new every couple of months and replacing the older ones.

Well, in Justin's case, I'm guessing the "(hopefully she doesn't read this)" part is another way of saying, "If I agree with this out loud, I'll look like a big shot...but if she finds out, I'll be on laundry and sammich-making detail for a few months."

And yes, I do have a couple pairs of famine underwear.

It could be worse. A buddy spent his first year in the Towers at OSU back in the days when it was 16 to a suite - one of the suitemates didn't do laundry at all during fall quarter. after Thanksgiving, HIS "famine underwear" consisted digging through the other guys dirty laundry for stuff that was less gamey that his own.
