So, I was watching a replay of the Stanford Notre Dame Game this morning.

I really didn't get a chance to watch a lot of Stanford this year, so I watched it today.

IF Jim H. could bring the same type of Good (Morally) Hard Nosed players to Michigan (I know he could) and play the same type of smash mouth football that he's playing at Stanford, then he is my choice for the future.

Is his style of football "exciting?" Maybe not, but it is fun to watch. I like the double TE smack you in the mouth he coaches (Kind of like Iowa, Wisconsin, and USUALLY OSU)

Now, don't get me wrong, I support RichRod 100%. He is our coach right now, and hope he succeeds. But, if he is fired, I want Jim Harbaugh to be our future.

I know this has been said before, but I didn't get a really good look at his coaching and play calling until today. If not Rich Rodriguez, I want Jimmy H.

I've been impressed with Harbaugh at Stanford. He does a great job.

As and OSU fan, I'd much rather see Rich Rod coaching in Ann Arbor than Harbaugh.

The chances of Jim Harbaugh ever becoming head coach at Michigan are slim and none. Slim most likely left town when he decided to throw Michigan under the bus a few year's back to make himself look better and get some publicity for Stanford.

Jim Harbaugh has burned alot of bridges in Ann Arbor

^^^ I agree, but time heals a lot... if he continues to win,it wouldn't surprise me if his name is in the mix should they be looking for another coach

The bridges have mostly been rebuilt. This will not be an issue if it comes to this.

Harbaugh has the potential to be a decent coach at a football powerhouse, but don't let that game be the standard for your opinion of him. ND's defense allowed every team they played look like a hard-nosed, smash mouth team.

I realize that, so I was taking my opinion of him with a grain of salt.

However, just watching the way the team carried itself was outstanding. I really didn't see someone show boating or anything like that. Just good, respectful, hard nosed football. Like it should be.

Have you been at AA lately? Few bridges there that they don't even have the money to rebuild. :D One near the stadium, they had to take it down to one lane each way instead of two because they didn't think the bridge could support the weight of two lanes of traffic in both directions. :D

Chances may have gotten better. Rumor is out that Jaime Morris was let go from the athletic department.
