Name the 5 players in MLB history who had the longest consecutive streaks of 100+ hits in a season by a catcher.


Hint......Joe Torre isn't one of the answers as he never caught after 1970, thus ending his streak at the catching position.




I can't wait for one of the supposed good guesses.

Posada....like many good guesses had an injury year just recently and broke up his streak

Carter is a great guess but nope.....

Bench is tied for 2nd place with 12 consecutive

Maybe Mike Piazza? I know he had one injury year which may have messed up the streak

I believe Piazza stopped at 10 consecutive.....which is just of the top 5.....though I think Mike is ust one of 7 catchers to go for 10 or more.

Yogi Berra and Johnny Bench are tied for 2nd at 12 apiece.

CARLTON FISK......his highest consecutive streak of 100+ hits in his illustrious HOF career.......T-H-R-E-E

I don't disagree with that assessment of Fisk.
that is a very interesting stat.
