i think i jinxed them the other night by giving them a few compliments...they really have been playing as well as they can considering our low payroll. i hope this doesnt linger and they can forget it

Doubtful...now, they're on the road for 10 games! If you follow the Pirates, you know how they play away from PNC, and it ain't good.

20-0 is a very bad loss, but it's only one bad loss. I think the Pirates are a better team this year and they'll be alright. No one said that they would win a pennant this season.
