this GD "New York" song by JayZ and Alicia Keyes one more time while I'm watching the pre-draft show I'm going to throw my damn TV. I mean seriously, it's the same 10 second clip of the same song over and over and over again. The NFL as a whole is about ready to drop about a quarter of a billion dollars to pay these dudes to be on their team, and ESPN can't afford to switch up it songs every now and then.

I was going to start a thread about this.

If there is an event in or involving NYC (not just sports), people seem to HAVE to play "Empire State of Mind" anymore.
ESPN advertising for the draft every 45 seconds has just made it overkill.

The song is not bad, but when I hear it for anything even remotely involving NYC, it gets really old really fast.

Turned on WKNR in my truck and they were playing it!! Enough!!!

Do the sensible thing. Turn the TV off, hang out on the comp, and flip to yahoo every 10 minutes to see who is drafted. How anyone can sit thru the draft show is freaking insane.
