I know both can be overboard with their analysis of the NFL Draft, but who do you think has more cred?

Mel....by a mile.

McShay is supposdely reviled by the league and has no respect among scouts. Mel is not universally loved, but he has been at this craft for a long time and has gained some respect over time throughout the league. That is not the case with Todd.

I can't stand Kiper and can't wait for the day McShay punches him right in the face. I'm not really a fan of McShay either but Kiper is an idiot and has been for a long time.

Kiper. The draft preparation was much more enjoyable to watch until ESPN hired McShay.

To be fair....neither of them hit on too many of them.

I listen to them because they are on tv, but honestly, I think we do just about as good of a job picking as they do.

Mayock is EASILY the best. He does his research, studies game film like a fiend, etc.

Between the two mentioned, Kiper has the most cred. He still has some connections in the league. McShay is a blowhard who nobody respects.

kiper is a guy who used to hang around the colts trainning facility trying to get a job. no one in nfl takes any thing he says seriously . i remember the colts GM saying " mel kiper doesnt know anything about football"

I don't really like either, much rather interested in hearing what Steve Young and Gruden have to say. If I had to pick, I'd say McShay.

I find it hard to believe anybody studies the draft more than Mel Miper.. After seeing what he owns/does/works it's pretty amazing.

With that said, I don't like either one of them, but really hate Todd McGay. He's always trying to start shit with Kiper to begin with.

Drafting will never be perfected by these so called "draft experts".. Fact is, none of them know more than any of us who watch the games know. They may know a little bit more about the smaller school guys though, because they watch more tape on them, among other things.
