..how fucked up is this.......

Someone purchased an item for $15.

It was 26 months ago.

And the person wanted to return it and get a refund, without a receipt even

Would you even try this? And if the place said no would you be surprised?

People amaze me, negatively, almost daily.

Wow.

My girl tells me these stories all the time so it doesn't suprise me. She is a manager for CVS and manages the local stores in our area and this happens all the time. People are truly idiots!

I mean it's worth a shot, but you can't really get mad when they won't take it.

For $15? Hey, that's a case of (shitty) beer!

Walmart will take back a losing lottery ticket if you create enough of a raging white trash scene.

I worked at Radio Shack in the early 90's for Christmas break. A guy comes in with 2 CB's no box, covered in dirt and dust, wires frayed and worn where they were hooked up. Had a receipt, they were 2 years old. He didnt want them anymore wanted his money back, got rid of his work truck and changed jobs. I said, they have been used for 2 years, cant do it. He got mad and stormed out.

My favorite is a guy comes in, I am by myself. I ask him if I can help him, phone rings. I ask him to hold on, answer phone and ask that person to please hold. When I put the phone on hold he went off on me cussing and saying that a customer in the store comes first. I said, I know thats why they are on hold. He got mad and sprayed me with his open pop bottle! He sprinted out of the store and I jumped the sales counter after him. He jumped in his car and took off we me in pursuit. Sad thing was, I was reprimanded for leaving store unattended! lol

i work in the meat dept. at a grocery store. one time a lady came in with a plastic bag full of roast beef and said "here this roast was all dried out, i want another one that isn't dry" i was like seriously, it is not our fault that you are a shitty cook and you cooked the roast too long.

Yesterday, the head store manager and I had a small debate about something I thought she FUCKED up on. She was just bitching about 'shrink' on $4 socks that get taken out of the package and we have to sell for a dollar. She wanted us department managers to pick up on it faster so we don't lose out on money. So yesterday, a mexican walks into Sports Authority and wants to return 4 soccer balls he bought 5 months ago. The soccer balls had a SHIT LOAD of black scuffs on them. I think they were playing on fresh black top. They had slices on them because of the pavement, as well as grass stains, etc. His reasoning was that they weren't good soccer balls and he didn't like them. I told him there is no way it was going to happen, but he was more than welcome to buy a different ball. He walks up to her, bitches and moans about the balls, and gets back the $105 for the balls. I almost shit a brick she did that. The balls of some people... The stupidity of some managers...

I can't post a picture because of work filters but in the movie WAITING...

"I don't doubt that the steak was over cooked Ma'am, but did you have to eat the whole thing before you complained?"

My mom ran a resteraunt for 10 years and got shit like that all the time.
Customer: My food was gross, I want my money back.
My mother/or Another Manager: Well, why did you eat all of it?

ha cannot believe the guy wanted to return the CB's.....hilarious.1

Thing is...item was used.....and obsolute and could not be resold. I just cannot believe one would think u could return something over 2 yaers old and expect money back. Just doesnt make sense how one would even think that was appropriate.

Same is said in the Insurance industry. People never amaze me anymore after filing claims for people over the last 11 years. Fraud is rampant in insurance (hence why you pay so much) and people think they are actually entitled to screw over the insurance company with fraud claims from anything you can imagine!!

^as an agent, I see a lot as well. Unbelievable what they tell me, then having a conversation with the adjuster it's a whole different can of worms. I love calling people out on it though and watch them stutter over their lip.
