Any fellow chatters involved with this? I've been hearing about it for a while and never really looked into it, but just this week I started messing around with it and it's pretty cool.
For those unfamiliar, it's basically a facebook for working professionals that allows you to network.
If you have it, what do you use it for? Do you find it effective?

I have an account. I have friends all over the US and in other countries, so its cool to network in a "business "sense" with them.
I see some people use FB as a "professional profile," too much garbage to sift through with that. LinkedIn is the way to go.

Yes, I use it, but so far, it's only been useful in attracting recruiters.

Yes. I use it to connect to industry professionals for the jobs I'm trying to fill. I also post job openings in the various groups I'm a part of.

I have an account but I hardly ever login. I try to be as anti-"professional" as possible so it doesn't really suit me.
