Homer Bailey looking bad early giving up a three run double to Blake on his 28th pitch in the first inning. The the Reds get a 6 run, 6 hit inning in the 2nd, a perfect place for a six run inning, when they are behind by 3. Then Bailey gets three zeroes on the board with just 43 pitches, and the Reds add on 3 runs, including a homer by Votto, making it 9-3 after 4 innings. No reason now for Bailey to not throw strikes the rest of his time in the game, which will hopefully be at least six innings.
