It would (will) be interesting to see what someone is willing to give up for Oden. I know this isn't the NFL where players are traded for draft picks, but you have to think that Portland will be willing to basically give away Oden at this point.

Nah, Oden is still young. You can never have too much height. They won't give up on him for nothing, anyway. It's not like Camby is a spring chicken.

Oden looks like he is 70 and he has 70 year old knees

yea, i mean, not a vote of confidence for Oden, but he was playing pretty well when he went down. they're not going to throw the #1 pick away like that.

I love Oden's game, but at this point, I wonder if he will ever be 100% again.

The best situation for Oden would be if he could come off the bench for about 15 minutes a night for someone. It's hard to see his body holding up more minutes than that for an entire season.

a number of years ago, nobody thought Ilgauskas would ever be healthy/able to play regularly again. He basically played very few games over a period of about 3 years. But he's essentially had very few if any injuries the last 3-4 years or so. Agree Oden is off to a poor start as far as health/injuries are concerned, but too early to give up on him yet.

Not a real good comparison, because Z was a finesse big man. Oden is a physical big man who relies on his athleticism.
